Soft Tissue Mobilization

A soft tissue therapy that is primarily used to break up scar tissue and adhesions that have formed in the muscle after an injury. Adhesions cause the movement of muscles or joints to be altered, resulting in a wide variety of symptoms including pain, weakness, decreased range of motion, numbness and tingling.

Our Techniques

Graston Technique and other soft tissue mobilizations

IASTM utilizes a variety of instruments, mainly a stainless steel tool. This scraping-like technique helps to address the pliability and mobility of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and scar tissue.

Assisted stretching performed by chiropractors

This technique utilizes movement coupled with pressure on specific points along a muscle by the doctor's hand. Both active and passive movements may be utilized during treatment.
